Inspiring All Kansans to Be Heart Healthy
A Change of Heart – for Kansas is committed to improving heart health for all Kansans, with a special emphasis on women. To do this, we’re increasing awareness about heart disease and inspiring all state residents to live healthier lives. That's why we're working with groups across Kansas to bring education and assessments to more communities. The map below shows our progress.
You can help make Kansas hearts healthier. Here's how:
-
Assessment – It's important to get a
heart health assessment so you can identify your risk for heart disease and reduce it.
-
Advocacy – We invite you to
become an advocate for your own heart health and that of others. Share the importance of heart health with those you love.
-
Awareness and action – Help us share information about good heart health with all Kansans. Let us know if you and your community are developing heart health programs or events. The A Change of Heart – for Kansas Women's
Heart Health Council will help share these ideas with other Kansas communities.
