Girls' Night In
Girls' Night In is a high-energy "girlfriends event" combining fun, food and friendship with information on improving your heart health. A fundraiser for The University of Kansas Hospital's women's heart health program, A Change of Heart, Girls' Night In inspires attendees to live heart-healthy lifestyles. The event is in February to coincide with National Heart Month.
Golfology fore Cardiology
Golfology fore Cardiology puts the "fun" in fundraiser! A benefit for the Cardiac Rehabilitation program at The University of Kansas Hospital’s Center for Advanced Heart Care, the Pro-Am golf tournament is held annually at Shadow Glen Golf Club in Olathe. Heart patient Larry Louk and his wife, JoLinda Vega, plan the event with the help of friends to give back to the hospital and its heart program. Heart Walk
Join walkers from all across the country in raising awareness and funds to fight heart disease. Organized by the American Heart Association, Heart Walk takes place annually in Kansas City.
